Made in China
Made in China has its origins in a visit to Beijing, China in 2007, by a group of Irish artists to launch a touring exhibition of their work. Made in China is work inspired by this visit and is a response to the experience, both visual and cultural, the artists had in the ancient city of Beijing, and its surroundings.
The new paintings and drawings are recordings in a wide range of media. Artists exhibiting include John Shinnors, Eithne Carr, Mary Yorke, Pauline Flynn, Robert Ryan, Maighread Tobin, Samuel Walsh, Donald Teskey and Maurice Quillinan.
