‘Living the name’ is glór Irish Music Centre’s strategic and executive plan for the development and performance of Traditional Irish Music at the centre from 2008 – 2013. Created in conjunction with members of Co. Clare’s local traditional community, it examined the existing remit of glór within the Traditional Arts and proceeded to develop a working strategy for the future.
The strategy focused on 5 areas of concentration including; organisational resources and practices, education, artistic & professional development, performance and marketing & audience development. Many initiatives and projects have been identified which are documented within in the strategy.
