glór's charity partner for 2008/2009 is the Ennis & Clare Branch of theSamaritans
About the glór charity scheme:
glór operates an annual link-in with registered charities, a programme that will see the successful charity receive a wide variety of benefits as part of the project.
The programme will rotate on a yearly basis, so over time lots of different charities will get a turn.
glór will place collection boxes on behalf of the chosen charity throughout the building at glór for a twelve-month period. They will also facilitate the chosen charity to host a gala fund raising night, where all proceeds will go to the chosen charity.
There will also be other benefits throughout the year including contributions from ticket sales from a cross section of programmed events. Also, the charity will be able to use the meeting room at glór for fund raising and other meetings throughout the year.
